What is Vascular Surgery?
Vascular surgery is a specialty of surgery in
which diseases of the vascular system, or arteries and veins, are
managed by medical therapy ...relates to any operation to treat,
repair or reconstruct the vascular system (blood vessels and
lymphatics). Examples include vericose veins, venous disease,
non-healing ulcers, clogged arteries and leg pain.
