Dr. Paul L. Sasser was born in Columbia, SC and raised in the Carolinas. He received his undergraduate education at Wofford College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude in 1982.  He is married and has three children.

He attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and received his medical degree in 1986.

Following surgical residency training at New York Medical College and Greenville Memorial Medical Center, he joined Associates in Surgery in Conway, SC. He currently holds full admitting and operating privileges at Conway Medical Center in Conway SC.

Dr. Sasser received his board certification in 1993 and became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 1995. 

Though Dr. Sasser has comprehensive training in all aspects of General Surgery, he has a special interest in the application of minimally invasive techniques in the provision of vascular surgical care.  To this end he trains continuously in the most recent innovations to apply these minimally invasive alternatives to the treatment of the most common vascular surgical problems.
